Jane HUTCHINSON

Jane Hutchinson (nee Clarke) was born in Yorkshire, England on July 20, 1956. She came to Canada in 1958 with her family and settled in Fruitvale, BC where she would spend her childhood years.

In 1975 Jane moved to Hosmer where she met and then married the love of her life, Ernie Hutchinson, on November 28, 1975. The couple was blessed with arrival of two children, their son Kyle, and daughter Crystal. Jane lovingly embraced life as a devoted wife and mother. Four precious grandchildren completed Jane’s family. Cole, Bo, Marissa, and Owen brought unimagined joy to her life.

Jane loved her life and her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was fiercely protective of her family, devoting her life to them. She was equally devoted to her friends.

Jane was known for her sense of humor, her infectious laughter, and her kindness and giving of herself to others. She will be remembered for the delicious meals she prepared and shared with many. Her door was open to all, and she had the natural ability to make people feel better for having been in her presence.

Jane is survived by her beloved husband Ernie; children Kyle Hutchinson and Crystal (Matthew) Hutton; four grandchildren: Cole and Bo Hutchinson, and Marissa and Owen Hutton; her brother Roy Clarke (Sparwood, BC); and sister Christine Thelker (Vernon, BC).

A private family celebration will be held.
