John Ventura MENDOZA

Born on December 30, 1945, John was a man who found true fulfillment in the world around him and in the company of those he cherished most.

John lived his life with an easygoing nature and an appreciation for the outdoors. Whether he was spending a quiet morning waiting for a bite while fishing, tracking through the woods on a hunt, or sitting around a table for a friendly game of poker, John was happiest when keeping things uncomplicated. He didn’t need life to be flashy, just honest, good, and shared with the people he loved.

Above all, John’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Brigida Mendoza, who shared in the life and home they built together. He also leaves behind his three beloved children: his sons, Gerald and Russell, and his daughter, Stephanie, who will forever carry forward his strength, his memory, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

John will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in every peaceful morning by the water, every game played among friends, and every quiet moment shared by the family he loved so dearly.
