Orville WEIPERT
Orville John Weipert passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, in Fernie B.C, at the age of seventy-nine. He was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
He is survived by his wife Marion, children Ken (Nici) and Monica (John), grandchildren, Eric, Sydney, and Ava.
Orville was predeceased by his parents, Ted and Alice Weipert; brothers: Brian, Melvin, Raymond, Garry, and sister Marilyn.
Orville worked as an Installer Repairman for CN Telecommunications in the Yukon, followed by BC Tel/ Telus as an Installer Repairman in the Elk Valley. He retired in 2002 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, and family time for many years.
In keeping with Orville’s wishes, there will be no public funeral service. The family will honor his memory in a private ceremony.
The Weipert family would like to thank all of the staff at Elk Valley hospital for the wonderful care they gave Orville in his final days.
