Pat was born in New Westminster B.C the second daughter of Pete and Laura Severin.

She grew up in Horsefly B.C. along with her 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Pat married Ken Ohlhausen who came as a packaged deal with his young daughter Kimi. They soon added Kelly Ann to their little family in August 1967. Pat was a passionate mother to her two girls.

She served as the special Olympics president in the mid 70’s, was an active member of the Fellowship Baptist Church for many years.

Her and Ken build 3 homes in the Gold Creek area. She returned to school to complete her GED and went on to educate herself and received her certification as Gemologist and a Nutritionist.

Pat is predeceased by her husband Ken in 2011 and her daughter Kelly Ann in 2021 as well as sister Gail Lafleur in 2023.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Olson and her husband David. Her 4 grand children Joel Olson ( Sarah), Jessica (John Skiftun), Johanna (Scott Melnyk) , Josiah Olson (Kimberly) and her 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by her siblings Hazel, David, Jack, Steven, and Donnie.

A special thank you to her brother in law Jim Lafleur for always being a phone call away. She was a special auntie to Laurie, Melinda, and Stephanie. And all her nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Pat will take place on Saturday Sept 19, 2026 at 12pm at the C3 Church 2410 ethel Street in Kelowna B.C.
