Cranbrook chamber launching pilot program for COTR business students
Noting that business students in the College of the Rockies are the future of business in our community, the Cranbrook & District Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) has announced the introduction of a new program that will expose students to city business affairs.
“Our goal is to provide six seats at the monthly Chamber Dinner Meeting for distribution to students enrolled in business programs at the College of the Rockies,” said chamber manager Karin Penner in a recent CDCC membership update.
“Our pilot project will run from September through to November 2011. We are seeking six sponsors at a total investment of $125 to secure a student reservation for the three chamber luncheon meetings,” Penner explained.
For more information or to register as a sponsor of the Young Entrepreneur Seats please contact Karin at the chamber office at 250-426-5914.
