The East Kootenay Community Credit Union (EKC) recently raised $615 for the Cranbrook Women’s Resource Centre, one of the many programs offered by the Community Connections Society of Southeast BC (www.ccscranbrook.ca). Funds were raised by EKC’s social committee at their Christmas party.

Receiving the cheque is Gwen Noble Executive Director Community Connections Society and her team including Brian Jensen and Kim Levie. The Centre has helped over 2,000 women this year and the funds are much needed for ongoing support.
