One and Done membership campaign coming
The Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce will launch its ‘One and Done’ membership campaign on Monday, October 19.
Running for just four days the goal is to have each chamber member sign up one new member.
“This is a really exciting program with a dramatic lead up to the big week,” said Chamber executive director David D. Hull. “We will start Monday morning and conclude on Thursday evening the 22nd, quick and fast. The next day, Friday, we will have a big celebration at The Heid Out.”
Hull is excited about the campaign. “This will be as much about existing members as new ones. We will be emailing out ‘sales kits’ that will provide the information and background to enable members to confidently recommend chamber membership. This will also serve to reinforce the value of their own membership.”
The campaign challenges each of the chamber’s 500 members to bring in one new member. There is a with a wide variety of awards for each new member signed up plus entries into draws for tickets to chamber events and two grand prize draws that will see lucky recruiters enjoy a Stay and Play package at St. Eugene Resort or a trip for two to either Vancouver of Victoria courtesy of Pacific Coastal Airlines.
New members have not been left out of the excitement. Each new member signed up from October 1 until the end of One and Done will receive a 15 month membership for the price of 12; a 25% saving. In addition, new members will receive numerous other incentives and entry into prize draws that include tickets to the 2016 Business Excellence Awards, a year of chamber lunches and four entries into the 2016 Chamber Classic Golf Tournament.
On the Friday afternoon, October 23, the chamber membership will gather at The Heid Out starting at 4:30 p.m. to reveal the grand total of new members and to hold the prize draws.
“It will be a great celebration and a grand way to end the week celebrating new members and showing appreciation and recognition of the recruiting member’s efforts,” Hull said.
