Wings promises great Gala Evening
The Wings over the Rockies Bird Festival’s Gala Evening on Saturday, May 12 promises a delicious meal at Radium Resort, a raucous live and silent auction and an entertaining keynote address.
Bruce Kirkby, Kimberley resident, naturalist, adventurer and travel writer for the Globe and Mail, will present Wild Journeys and Wild Places, pictures and stories “to celebrate the beauty of our wild planet” in both the Rockies and exotic locales abroad. Registration is limited to the first 100 enthusiastic registrants.
