The Cranbrook Fire Fighters’ Association is holding its 36^th annual Cranbrook Firefighter’s Fishing Clinic on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 16), from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Idlewild Park in Cranbrook.

The clinic is for children 15 years old and under and families are encouraged to come along.

There is no cost or pre-registration required. Hot dogs and refreshments will also be served.

Additionally, there are many prizes to be won, including a new bicycle as the grand prize! (Tagged fish must be caught by March 31of the following year in order to claim prize.)

The lake will be stocked with fish by the Kootenay Trout Hatchery. Provincial fishing regulations apply. All fish must be caught in the lake.
