She praised KRRG’s committee work and shared insights gleaned from the other 11 Constituent Groups she serves across the Anglican Diocese of Kootenay. Before heading home to Castlegar, she declared, “You’re doing great work, keep it up!”

Some of what energized Rev. Huether includes:

April 23 – KRRG volunteers host a hot dog barbecue in the Overwaitea Foods parking lot, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds go toward making Kimberley “a good place to be welcoming.”

April 30 – Dance your way into May! Saturday night, starting at 8 p.m. and going until 1 a.m. May 1, enjoy music from Kimberley’s own blues band, The Hollers.

Sales of wine, beer and snacks will also benefit KRRG. Special thanks to The Hollers, the City of Kimberley and Kimberley Chamber of Commerce.

Also April 30 – final day Regal Catalogue orders will benefit KRRG. Contact Louise Hockley at 250-427-3726.

May 5 – KRRG’s next regular meeting, open as always. Hear progress reports, join committees or simply find out what’s happening, Thursday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon at Kimberley’s Aquatic Centre, courtesy of the City of Kimberley. An evening meeting follows, date to be announced.
