A peek at JulyFest 2015

The City of Kimberley was one lively place last weekend.

Once again blessed with hot, sunny weather, JulyFest 2015 had the usual suspects back in town, taking part in the Canadian Bocce Championships. And if people weren’t playing bocce, they were playing soccer.

Hundreds of people lined the way for the annual parade, with Selkirk Secondary School reunions a-plenty, including the classes of 1955, ’65, ’75, ’85, ’90, ’95 and ’05 taking part.

The Saturday evening dance party at the Centennial Arena featured up-and-comers One Bad Son, The Wild and local faves, The Honeymans.

Kimberley RCMP reported this morning that JulyFesters behaved for the most part, with only a few shenanigans.
