Drive-by shooting in Kimberley
RCMP has two in custody after a drive-by shooting that occurred on Archibald Street in Kimberley last night.
A report of a shot fired at a residence was received around 11 p.m., April 4. A vague vehicle description was obtained; extensive patrols were conducted without success.
At approximately 1 a.m., April 5, a second report was received from the same address. Officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested two males. Several firearms related charges are pending.
Two shots were fired at the residence from a shotgun. The investigation is ongoing, General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification and Police Dog Services are assisting the Kimberley RCMP.
