Friends of Children ‘Blizzard Day’ at DQ
On Friday, June 12, Dairy Queen sponsored a Friends Of Children ‘Blizzard Day’ fundraiser.
One dollar from every Blizzard sold was donated to Friends of Children – East Kootenay. Numerous local businesses participated leading up to the event, completing the challenge of filling a DQ cup up with donations. The total donations from the DQ cups and Blizzard sales reached $1,703! The money raised will help support East Kootenay families with children in extraordinary medical need.
Friends of Children would like to extend a huge thank you to Cranbrook Dairy Queen for their hard work and enthusiasm that brought so many local organizations, businesses, and individuals together to help East Kootenay families.
Thank you to all those who participated, supported, and made the day such an enormous success!
