Village of Canal Flats Mayor Ute Juras is being challenged by Coun. Dean Midyette in the Nov. 15 municipal election.

In addition to having a mayoral election, Canal Flats voters will have six candidates from which to select four council seats.

Seeking re-election are incumbents Gilbert Delorme, Marie Delorme and Paul Marcil, while former councillor Roy Webb seeks a return to office. Also taking aim at a council seat are Erin Gornik and Karl Sterzer.
