Highway 95A has been re-opened in both directions in Kimberley following an early morning mudslide.

Both directions of the highway were closed in both directions two km south of Kimberley to two km north of Kimberley because of a mudslide on the Overwaitea Hill, at the same location where a slide occurred last year. Traffic was detoured via Rotary Drive South exit to Archibald Street north exit to Mark St.

The debris was cleared and highway re-opened at 9:43 a.m.
