The Cranbrook Public Library is proud to welcome Carolyn for an author reading and book signing Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m.

Carolyn is the author of the bestselling book The Zero-Mile Diet: A Year-Round Guide to Growing Organic Food, having also written A Year on the Garden Path: A 52-Week Organic Gardening Guide. She will be talking about her newest book The Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook: Seasonal Recipes for Delicious Homegrown Food. The Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook is filled with quick and easy vegetarian dishes that can be made from your backyard garden. With a chapter on food preservation, Carolyn helps readers get year-round nourishment from a seasonal harvest with delicious and sustainable recipe ideas.
