New councils getting down to business
Now that the Christmas and New Years holiday season is behind us and 2015 is underway, it’s back to ‘normal’ in the East Kootenay as municipal government councils, the Regional District of East Kootenay and two school boards of directors get back to meetings and business.
The City of Cranbrook is first off the mark this evening (Jan. 5) with the first council meeting of 2015 beginning at 6 p.m. at city hall.
The following is a list of council and board meetings for 2015. Please note that most municipalities have yet to post 2015 schedules. The links will take you to the right location and they offer basic information, such as meetings being held on the same days each month (second and fourth Mondays etc.).
