Kimberley RCMP would like to remind drivers that school speed zones are back in effect.

This week our Speedwatch volunteers set up at various locations in the city to monitor traffic. Speedwatch is one component of the RCMP traffic safety plan. Their primary goal is awareness and education.

In circumstances where a vehicle is traveling at an unsafe speed police will often follow up with a courtesy letter to the registered owner.
