Think Like a Watershed
The 2013 Columbia Basin Watershed Network Symposium is being held at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Sept. 29 and 30, following the Sept. 28 Columbia Salmon Festival in Invermere and Fairmont.
Local government officials and employees, First Nations, academics, professionals, ENGOs, stewardship groups, and community members are invited to participate in the symposium, supported by Living Lakes Canada.
The theme of this year’s symposium is ‘Think Like a Watershed’ and the purpose is to get participants to consider watershed management from a holistic watershed perspective.
Please join us at this important event as we begin to forge a new age of water governance in the Columbia Basin.
Registration for the symposium beings September 3.
