Open house for parks, recreation and trail futures in village
The Village of Canal Flats is hosting an open house Tuesday, Feb. 11 covering its Parks, Recreation and Trails Strategy and the Lions Park Concept Plan.
The Parks, Recreation and Trails Strategy will help the village identify priorities for future parks, recreation activities and trails.
And the Lions Park Concept Plan aims to develop a future-focussed concept plan for the downtown park. The village will present two concepts illustrating possible designs for the park.
“Please come out and tell us what to add, change and what to leave alone,” a village poster encourages residents.
The open house runs from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Village Office (Columbia Discovery Centre).
