COTR students learn about Andorra as living lab
On Friday, September 6, Adventure Tourism Business Operations students at College of the Rockies’ Golden campus enjoyed a presentation from Mark Pons, Managing Director of Innovation Hub Andorra and the Director of the Snow and Mountain Research Centre for Andorra.
Taking time from personal travel in B.C., Pons spoke about the effort to develop Andorra as a “living lab” where researchers will explore solutions to social, economic, and infrastructure challenges in mountainous settings. The college’s Field School opportunity in Andorra was also discussed.
