BC Hydro crews will be performing a transmission system upgrade on the powerline that serves Golden, Field, Parson and surrounding rural communities.

This important work will help improve the reliability and delivery of electricity across the region.

To safely complete this work, we require a 14-hour planned outage on Sunday, October 4 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mountain Time.

The outage will affect customers in Golden, Field, Parson and nearby rural areas, as well as approximately 1,000 primarily residential customers in Radium Hot Springs.

Please prepare accordingly and make any necessary arrangements in advance.
