District seeks input on Stormwater Management Master Plan
The District of Invermere is developing an Integrated Stormwater Management Master Plan that will evaluate current level of service, identify drainage improvements to support stormwater management service delivery and assess the impacts of climate change on stormwater management drainage infrastructure.
The district is seeking residents’ feedback about their experiences with flooding and drainage in Invermere and surrounding area. This information will be used to help the district identify locations with stormwater drainage issues.
Residents’ feedback will help inform the development of drainage improvement strategies with the integrated Stormwater Management Master Plan.
From now until January 5, 2024, the district is inviting community members to provide their input through the Stormwater Management Master Plan.
The brief survey is available at the District of Invermere’s website.
