Fun and busy weekend ahead for Invermere
Invermere is going to be a busy place this weekend – July 17 and 18 – with the return of Bull Riding in the Rockies and Valley Appreciation Day.
Things get bouncing, bashing and flinging Friday night with the 26th annual Bull Riding in the Rockies, presented by the Columbia Valley Rockies, across from Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and action begins around 6:30 p.m.

And Saturday morning brings the annual celebration of the Columbia Valley, presented by the District of Invermere with support from the Downtown Invermere Business Committee and local contributors.
This family-friendly event, beginning at 9 a.m. and running to 1 p.m., is not to be missed.
Enjoy a free pancake breakfast, live entertainment, the Invermere Farmers & Artists Market, interactive games, and much more.
