Invermere beginning curbside collection
Starting the week of October 4, the District of Invermere is moving to an automated residential curbside collection program.
The district will provide each household currently receiving waste collection service with one 120L waste cart and one 240L recycling cart.
The district asks: please do not place the new carts out prior to the start of automated service the week of October 4.
Waste will continue to be collected weekly with recycling collected bi-weekly.
Starting the week of October 4, waste and recycling will only be collected when placed in the new district-issued carts and parked in the appropriate place along the road.
