Mayor Al Miller sailed to another four-year term on the friendly winds of acclamation and he’ll be joined by mostly familiar faces on District of Invermere council the next four years.

Three incumbent councillors have been re-elected along with one new face.

Theresa Wood (807 votes), Grant Kelly (711) and Kayja Becker (678) all return to office while Sue-Rose Read (593) joins them.

Ryan Neal and Mark E Topliff were not elected.

A total of 981 ballots were cast from the 3,306 estimated eligible voters.
