Canada was welcomed to the 150-year-old nation club by the Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley the evening of June 30, with a fireworks display over Lake Windermere.

And the rest of the valley community came out in droves July 1 for the Canada Day Parade, festivities at Invermere’s Kinsmen Beach and Pynelogs grounds, and much more beneath beautiful blue skies and hot sunshine.
