Roots and blues evening Feb. 10 at Pynelogs
Enjoy an evening out at Pynelogs Cultural Centre on Feb. 10 for Live Roots & Blues performed by Dave McCann & Ethan Askey.
Dave McCann is a songwriter’s songwriter, having five albums and an award-winning soundtrack to his credit with his roots rock bands The Ten Toed Frogs and The Firehearts.
With the versatile harmonica player Ethan Askey joining him for this intimate performance, you can expect some unique chemistry, textures and tones to Dave’s timeless storytelling. Together these two natural performers combine their forces as a compelling original roots-blues duo.
The opening act for the evening will be ‘In Pursuit’ – a family band from Kimberley, founded in 2009. The youngest and the oldest, Declan and Fras, perform their own interpretation of the band’s material with a mix of vocals, guitar, drums and harmonica.
In Pursuit is on stage at 6 p.m. and the main act gets going at 7 p.m.
