The Invermere Snowflake Festival runs once again tomorrow evening at Kinsmen Beach.

The 10th annual festival launches a weekend of wintery lake-based fun in Invermere, with the 36th annual Bonspiel on the Lake running Jan. 18-20 at Kinsmen Beach.

The festival is staged at the Kinsmen Beach entry to the White Way, making for a awesome skating, cross-country skiing and more. Bring your skates or rent them at Columbia River Paddle Concession.

Watch curling and enjoy the Royal Canadian Legion’s Warming Hut.

There will be live music featuring Fairwater 54 and bonfires aplenty.

Taste of the Valley begins at 6 and runs to 8 p.m.

Purchase a passport book for $10 to sample food from participating restaurants. This passport book will include coupons that will be redeemable throughout the year.

Taste of the Valley Passports are available for $10 cash at the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and will be available at the event entrance.

Starting at 8 p.m. there will be a fireworks display courtesy of the Columbia Basin Trust.
