The District of Invermere is alerting residents about a traffic diversion effective Tuesday morning, July 19.

Motor vehicle traffic will be diverted away from 13th Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets to support infrastructure work by Marwest Industries for the district.

Motorists from the Westridge, Westside, Pineridge, and Castlerock neighbourhoods may access other parts of Invermere by using the following designated traffic diversion routes:

Route 1 – Temporary Connection between 13th Avenue and 13th Street

• Proceeding from 13th Avenue – turn East on to 15th Street and proceed to 12th Avenue, then turn North on to 12th Avenue and proceed to 13th Street.
• Proceeding from 13th Street – turn South on to 12th Avenue and proceed to 15th Street, then turn West on to 15th Street and proceed to 13th Avenue.

Route 2 – Temporary Connection between Pine Ridge Drive and 14th Street to 13th Avenue

• Proceeding from Pine Ridge Drive / 14th Street – turn West on to Canyon View Road and proceed North to 10th Street, then turn East on to 10th Street and proceed to 13th Avenue.
• Proceeding from 13th Avenue – turn West on to 10th Street and proceed to Canyon View Road, then turn South on to Canyon View Road and proceed to Pine Ridge Drive / 14th Street.

Please pay careful attention to directional signage / reader boards as those directions will be updated regularly by Marwest.
