Water Quality Advisory for Invermere
As of April 15, the District of Invermere has issued a Water Quality Advisory (WQA) for all areas within the district due to a UV system malfunction.
If you have a weakened immune system or want extra protection, take precautions when:
- Drinking tap water;
- Washing fruits & vegetables;
- Making beverages or ice;
- Brushing teeth.
Until further notice, you are advised to:
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute or use an alternate, safe water source.
