Late Bus pilot program launches Sept. 22

Some great news for Columbia Valley transit riders.

The Late Bus officially launches September 22, and you’re invited to celebrate. Join in at David Thompson Secondary School (DTSS) in Invermere at 6:30 p.m. for a ribbon cutting and the first ride.

Running from 6:45–9:20 p.m. Monday to Thursday, the Late Bus links Canal Flats, Fairmont Hot Springs, Windermere, Invermere, Radium Hot Springs and Edgewater, giving residents and students a reliable evening travel option.

This pilot is powered by the DTSS Climate Club, Wildsight Invermere and community supporters — including the Village of Canal Flats.

The pilot runs until November 13, using Valley Vibes’ 24 seat bus. Fares are $2.50, with several ways to pay.

Tickets for this route are available at the Canal Flats Village office (cash only, please) or through the driver.

Learn more and see the schedule.
