B&E robs Radium business of about $20,000

Columbia Valley RCMP is investigating a break and enter to a Radium Hot Springs business last week that resulted in the loss of about $20,000 in goods and cash.

On September 26, Columbia Valley RCMP received a report of a break and enter to the Mountain Side Market located in Radium Hot Spring. The break and enter occurred between 11 p.m. the previous night and 4:30 a.m. that morning. A safe, money, cigarettes and scratch lotto tickets were stolen totalling a loss of approximately $20,000. Investigators were assisted in their investigation by the Integrated Forensic Identification Services out of Cranbrook and the scene was fully processed.

“Our investigators are also reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses to assist our investigation. Any information regarding this investigation can be brought to the attention of Cst. Bell by quoting file number 2018-2624 or by contacting CrimeStoppers,” reported Columbia Valley RCMP Cpl. L-P. Gendron-Fafard.
