Village seeks feedback for RMI strategy

The Village of Radium Hot Springs is seeking feedback from community members regarding the future funding of programs from the provincial Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI).

Radium Hot Springs is one of 14 B.C. communities designated as a Resort Municipality. This designation allows the village to receive funding through the RMI.

In order to receive these funds, the village must create a strategy, or plan, as to how these funds are spent.

Past RMI funding projects include the Columbia River boat access, the outdoor fitness equipment, and the roundabout centrepiece.

To create its strategy, the village is seeking input from residents and business owners as to how these funds are spent.

With the assistance of Tourism Radium, a survey has been created, and can be accessed by clicking here.
