Class reunion to give back to DTSS
An upcoming high school graduation reunion has taken on a philanthropic tone.
The David Thompson Secondary School (DTSS) Class of 2007 is gathering in June to celebrate a decade post grade school and in doing so wish to give back to DTSS through a fundraising effort.
Reunion fundraising organizer Christine Harvey said a “minimum of half of the funds we raise will be donated back to the school to be used as needed for school supplies and new equipment. The other half will be used to help us hire a DJ for our 10-year reunion.”
Fundraising is underway and will run until June 23.
If you would like to donate but are not able to do so online you can call or email Christine Harvey to arrange an alternative.
“We truly appreciate any help that we receive. It means a lot to all of us 2007 grads to be able to give back to David Thompson Secondary School since it was a special place where we created many cherished memories together!” Harvey said.
