At the Library

By Mike Selby

Cranbrook Public Library

Clare Mulley presents a dual biography of the only two women pilots in the Nazi regime in ‘The Women Who Flew for Hitler.’ A fascinating story since Hitler didn’t allow women in the military, and one of the pilots was not only Jewish, but married to the man who tried to assassinate Hitler during Operation Valkyrie.

A high school student wins the lottery making her the unwanted center of attention in Kasie West’s ‘Lucky in Love’ (pictured above).

Preschool Story Time is this Wednesday at 11 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and Toddler Story Time is 10 and 11 a.m. Both will be all about where we live. Baby Laptime Thursday at 10 a.m.

Please note there is always a Wednesday evening Story Time at 6:30 p.m. for ages three to nine and their caregivers. Perfect way to unwind.
