Cops for Kids Ride rolls into town today
The Cops for Kids Ride will arrive in Cranbrook today, Wednesday, September 13.
The day will feature a gathering at the Cranbrook RCMP station as well as a Jail and Bail fundraiser at Tamarack Centre, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is a part of the 10-day Cops for Kids ride across southeastern B.C. to raise funds and awareness for local children in medical, physical, or traumatic crisis across southeastern B.C.
The Jail and Bail fundraiser features unsuspecting law-abiding citizens who are arrested and tried before a kangaroo court before they’re placed in the cell at Tamarack Centre where they’ll need to raise their “bail” in the form of pledges for Cops for Kids.
All funds will support local kids in their journey to wellness.
