Council to hear from local non-profits and societies

Upcoming presentations will be made to City of Cranbrook council by select groups and organizations that have received financial assistance from the City of Cranbrook in 2017.

Some organizations that have service contracts with the city in 2017 will also be making presentations.

“This meeting will provide an opportunity for these groups to show how the funding was put to use in the community and share the challenges and successes each group is experiencing,” explained city corporate communications manager Chris Zettel.

Below is a tentative list of presenters and is subject to change:

2:30 p.m.                       Cranbrook Search & Rescue
2:50 p.m.                       Cranbrook Boys & Girls Club
3:10 p.m.                       1992 Sweetheart Society
3:30 p.m.                       Cranbrook & District Arts Council
3:50 p.m.                       Ktunaxa Nation Council (Street Angel)
4:10 p.m.                       Key City Theatre Society
4:30 p.m.                       Cranbrook Curling Club
4:50 p.m.                       Cranbrook History Centre (CAMAL)
5:10 p.m.                       Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday October 3, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.  The public is invited to attend.
