Cranbrook RCMP Report

The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week (from 6 a.m.) Jan. 9 to 6 a.m., Jan. 15.

Police handled 103 calls for service throughout this week.

Among the calls police handled…

One impaired driving: alcohol.

Three collisions: one in the city and two outside the city.

Five assaults; four domestic in nature.

Four Mental Health Act related calls: one apprehended.

Four thefts.

One theft from auto: tools (recovered) and ignition tampered.

Two theft of auto: both recovered.

One theft other: three rings stolen from local business. Read more about this incident.

One break and enter to a business: three BMX bikes were stolen from a local business.

One break and enter to a residence: food and clothing taken.

One damage to property: part of a fence removed believed associated to trespassers.

11 false alarms and false 911 calls.
