Cranbrook woman succumbs to crash injuries
During the morning of Tuesday, August 18, Cranbrook RCMP responded to a minor single vehicle collision at the 900 block of King Street W.
The driver, a 70-year-old Cranbrook woman, was unresponsive and transported to East Kootenay Regional Hospital and subsequently airlifted to Calgary for further treatment.
Police this morning reported the driver passed away August 19.
“Neither impairment nor driving behaviour is suspected to be involved as a factor in the collision,” said Sgt. Shayne Parker of Cranbrook RCMP.
