Erratic driver turns out to be injured woman
On August 29 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Cranbrook RCMP was called to the downtown area for a complaint of a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. The vehicle had struck light posts and parking barriers.
RCMP members located the vehicle and was able to stop it. A female driver was taken into custody but was discovered to have been suffering from serious injuries from being involved in an altercation previous to this complaint being made.
Four persons (three adult males and one adult female) have been taken into custody in relation to this matter which is still under investigation at this time.
