Friends’ Winter Madness Sale has everything

The Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library have a solution for you to pass the time on these cold winter days.

One always needs a book to read but sometimes you wish to browse a magazine, watch a DVD, listen to a CD, or play a puzzle or game. Come to the Winter Madness Sale!

This sale has everything – books, magazines, audio visual items, puzzles and games. Magazines cover everything from current events to crafts, cooking and more.    DVDs ranging from TV shows to kids programs are also available. Audiophiles can browse a selection of music CDs and audio books.  One must not forget the games and puzzles.

There will be books on biography, crafts, cooking, history, nonfiction, religion, mystery, fiction and much more. And check out the expanded 25 cent section for crazy savings.

Crafters will also find supplies for stamping and stencilling. This is our only sale with a large quantity of magazines so don’t miss out.

This year’s sale will be on Friday, Feb. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. for members of the Friends only.  And on Saturday, Feb. 2nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the public.

Donations for this sale are most welcome. We accept magazines (published within the last three years) as well as books, CDs, DVDS, Audiobooks, games and puzzles of all ages.  Items in good condition are appreciated. Please bring items to the circulation desk in the library.

This sale is held in the Manual Training School adjacent to the library and all proceeds are used for library programs.
