ICE draft 10 in WHL Bantam Draft

The steadily re-building Kootenay ICE re-stocked the incoming talent larder May 4, selecting 10 players in the Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft.

“The players selected today represent our future and add to an already strong talent level of ICE players that will help us continue to build momentum moving forward,” said Garnet Kazuik, Director of Scouting for the Kootenay ICE.

With the second overall selection, the ICE drafted Connor McClennon from Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy.

McClennon (5’7”, 156 lb., from Wainwright Alberta) “loves to score; that’s his go-to,” said Kazuik.
