In Harmony
This welded steel eagle statue has been installed to greet highway travellers, and visitors, in Harmony Park opposite the History Centre on Van Horne Street.
The Eagle was constructed by Ron Demaniuk and was commissioned by the City of Cranbrook. Cranbrook city work crews also assisted in the welding and placement of the steel pole on which to mount the sculpture.
Eagles are an important part of Ktunaxa culture and also one forms part of the Cranbrook logo.
