Jimsmith crossing to be closed overnight Aug. 23
The Canadian Pacific Railway crossing at Jimsmith Lake Road will be closed to all traffic overnight on Thursday, August 23.
Motorized vehicles will not be able to use the crossing between 11 p.m. Thursday, August 23 and 3 a.m. on Friday, August 24.
Anyone heading to or from the Jimsmith Road or New Lake Road areas should use the newly resurfaced Cobham Avenue to access Highway 3 or the rest of the City of Cranbrook.
Both CP Rail and the City of Cranbrook thank the public for their understanding and cooperation while these important repairs are being completed.
