Junior Wild volleyball teams open strong

JUNIOR GIRLS

The Mount Baker Secondary School Junior Girls Volleyball teams started their season last weekend in Invermere at David Thompson Secondary School. The girls fought some tough teams including Parkland Middle School, Sparwood Secondary, and Fernie Academy and placed third overall.

JUNIOR BOYS

The Wild Junior Boys Volleyball team also kicked off their season in Kimberley at Selkirk Secondary, placing first after beating Jaffray 25-8 and 25-17 in the finals.

The Mt. Baker Senior Girls competed in the University of Calgary Dino’s High School Invitational Sept 22-23 with several top ranked provincially ranked teams.
