Cranbrook RCMP has responded to its second all-terrain-vehicle (ATV) fatality crash this month.

On September 23, around 5 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP were called to a Forest Service Road off of Lakeview Drive near JimSmith Lake for a report of a quad accident.

Persons in the area had located a male who had been thrown from an ATV. Cranbrook RCMP attended and located the male, who was deceased.

Cranbrook RCMP, along with the BC Coroner’s service, continues to investigate. Speed appears to be a factor in the incident, reported Cst. Katie Forgeron of Cranbrook RCMP.
