A quick splash update from Western Financial Place: the pool will be closed for annual maintenance from June 15 to July 5 and reopens July 6.

Good news: the facility stays open Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., including squash.

• Closed weekends and Canada Day (July 1).
• Pool desk: Open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Walking concourse: open June 1 to 10, closed June 11, reopens June 13, closed again June 23.
• Everything is back July 6 after maintenance, events and seasonal ice making.
