Poppy Campaign supports healthcare
Through the hard work of all our Poppy volunteers, on December 22 Clive Brown, from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24, presented Brenna Baker from the East Kootenay Foundation for Health with a cheque for $7,875 from the Poppy Campaign.
This donation will purchase a portable VAC Wound Healing System, which is a very important piece of equipment that home care nurses will be able to take on their home visits to assist in speeding the healing process.
Thank you to the members at Branch #24 for your support and making a difference in health care for the East Kootenay!
