Cranbrook back to third in nation in Challenge

Hey Cranbrook – we’re three weeks into the ParticipACTION Community Challenge and we’re rockin’ it!  Currently sitting in third place in the entire country!

We want to thank all those organizations, businesses, active groups, clubs, schools and individuals who have already registered and have been busy entering their activities and numbers.  We couldn’t have reached this level without your support.

Keep entering your stats right up to midnight on June 30. The ParticipACTION website is very busy right now – it’s processing all the data from all across the country. Be patient!

A common question we’re getting is how to Add an Activity and Track Participants.  These steps can assist you:

  1. After logging in with your email and password,  My Dashboard appears on your screen;
  2. Click on “Add New Activity”;
  3. Name your activity (ie:  Walking dog with friend, cycling, gardening);
  4. Tick appropriate boxes if applicable or “none of the above”;
  5. Click on “Save”;
  6. Your activity is now listed;
  7. Now you add your data by clicking on “Track Participants”, then “Add new Entry”;
  8. Insert the date by clicking on the calendar icon, add in number of participants, then “Save”.

If you need assistance registering or tracking participants, reach out to us by email:[email protected]

However, our ranking for participant counts is just one part of this Community Challenge. All finalists are required to answer five questions that are weighted very heavily and judged by an independent panel of judges.

We are also required to submit digital evidence such as photos, videos, articles, ads, posters and/or social media posts to accompany our written responses to the five questions.

Haven’t registered yet?  There’s still time!  You can register your organization today and enter activities retroactively back to June 1.
